Question by dave: What is best Adobe color book to use for a simple 2 cartridge desktop printer?
I need to make a presentation and color books I have used in the past have turned out so different when I print. I am looking for a color book in Adobe Illustrator’s CS2.

For design and printing I use the Pantone colour swatches, usually either Pantone Coated or Uncoated.
Avoid oranges – they do not convert well to CMYK especially on the average desktop printer.
Select some colours you’d like to use and do a print sample before you go too much further – it will give you an idea of how they will look and if need be you can change easily to another shade.
