Question by robert a: what are the advantages of macintosh computers in desktop publishing?
Answer by babygirl
I really am a mac snob… I love my mac. That being said. I’ve worked on both computer (they were side by side) jumping back and forth. The Adobe CS3 suites are so similar between both platforms that if you really want to do graphic work on an IBM platform you’ll be able to get the job done. That being said, the way the OS works on both machines is so different. I always end up doing 2-3 steps more on the IBM than I do on the mac. A mac is like driving a “Maserati” and a Windows platform computer is like driving a “corolla”. They’ll both get you to where you want to go… but how fast do you want to get there. I’ve been doing desktop publishing for 19 years (I had an 512K computer). I love macs.
