Last night conference with Joel de Rosnay, on the future of the internet with its social and economic impact., in Paris at "La Cité des Sciences ".

Among the topics he talked about were : 3D printing . Media Lab . The New architecture of the Internet with the web.2.0 (flickr, youtube etc) – 3.0 (sementic) and 4.0 (World wide Sensor Network/ Rfi. ). The Long Tail etc… ( Podcast of the conference.)

It was very ,Very interesting and he is a great orator. I had a small chat at the end with him. And like few other people like him, i met recently. His advice was kind of the same. you should go for "it". Why not creat a start up. Or as Esther Dyson told me…just go for it, do something…and you’ ll see where to go next… So we ‘ll see what’ s happen, over the next few weeks, months. But i guess that’ s one the reason, why i realy like meeting them. For inspiration and the pleasure of discovering, sharing and learning.

About the Internet Map his is showing. Have a look at Steve Jurvetson ‘s Internet Splat Map , for more detail.

For those of you who would be interested. He is giving a new conference, next Wednesday (28May) on : La civilisation du numérique : contrôle et responsabilisation

And if some of you are in Paris Sunday night. " La cité des sciences" invite you to follow live with all of us (free to public as always) , the landing of the Mars PhoeniX Mission.
