How good are these for expanbility or the A55, which I know is very similar, anyway
@FRURMELLL When HD tv’s started coming out a lot of them had DVI as opposed to HDMI at the time.
over rated
IBM set the standard,, All others are IBM compatible,, Dell ,Gateway, Acer, HP, ect. ect. I think IBM is decent!
This would be good for productivity software like Photoshop, SketchUp and even AutoCAD. I could use this to craft numerous documents.
@JohnnyCacheGer No one I know uses DVI. I never saw a monitor with one. And we have brand new Core 2 Duos at my school. And: 1 gb is decent enough for regular tasks.
@JamieJWSmith The ONLY thing good about it is the processor. Which is DEFINITELY overkill. A Dual Core would be perfect or even a Pentium 4. My pentium 4 rig is better than this one and it cost around 380 dollars…
Upgrade the RAM, and the graphics and this’ll be an AWESOME gaming rig!
you all say it’s crap but cant back it up. if it can last longer that 10 years in a school office or at home and still work then it aint crap
its universalmusicgroup go to top subscriber and you will see them
Expertvillage has 138,990 videos, and still continuing to upload.
oh wow machinima has 3,000 and up
Go to the expertvillage channel and you will be surprised lol
who has the most videos on youtube i think its machinima anyone disagree
gaming is for my PS3
Well as the guy said, it is very expandable.
This is a list of upgrades my thinkcentre A55:
CPU: 2.0 all the way to 2.66 (limit and trust me i have experience in computers)
RAM: 1GB to 4GB
GPU: GMA 3000 all the way to ATI radeon HD2600XT.
Thats all i needed to upgrade
Well i think this setup that is perfect for regular 3D graphic Apps (example Folding@home) and maybe a little bit of light gaming (COD 4). I will use FSX with this machine in HIGH settings because i am not an EXTREME gamer
hehe… mine too was like that >:O
i had my p4 for like 5 years :O
intel p4 3.2ghz prescott
the P4 cpu is or was very powerfull
ugly fuckin mouse
And yes i understand this is for businesses, but that doesnt change the fact that that mouse is ugly as shit.
We have some like this in school, they are preety standard but they work very well, they are decently fast, it’s perfect for a student
yea. but me needs better cpu fan. its at 50*c idel lol
dvi port? this is for bussiness and plus vista home only requires 512 as the minimum so 1 GB is enough
its bussiness not gaming….
hmm needs speed, yeah i just remembered 1gb of ram is fast….
have you a prescott 3,2 ghz
???
i has a pentium 4 3.2ghz and it works great.
