Question by bill_j: How important is ventilation for a desktop computer?
I am putting a small desktop computer in a kitchen cupboard. The computer will be attached to a wall mount/arm screen. Around the cupboard door is about a quarter inch gap where air could get in and out. Do I need more ventilation than that? Should I put in a vent pipe?… or is the need for massive ventilation overrated? This is only a 2 gigahertz computer, but it is a smaller case.

hm….there isn’t enough space for ventilation. You should put in a vent pipe and hm….buy a bigger cooler. From what you said, buying a bigger case is out of choice since it’s wall-mount.
