How do I setup my laptop (XP) to be able to access my drives on my home desktop computer (Vista)? Both are connected to my home Wireless router. I do not need complete details, but I dont know where to start. Do I setup a home network? I tried that but I didnt get anywhere. Thanks for any hep….

Yes, you have to get both computers networked. You have to have a user id and password with admin powers on both computers. Blank passwords don’t work. Use your XP to network. Open networking, add a new connection.
Once both computers are connected through ‘Work Group’ , you can use ‘Sharing’ to access the computer’s drives/folders.
