Question by Jim Nosella: How can I use Google Desktop to index my NAS (Network hard drive)?
I have a network hard drive and I would like to index
it using Google Desktop. Can I do this?
I know enterprise edition can be used on a server to index all computers in a work group but I would like to do it peer-to-peer.

Yes, you can!
On Google Desktop, select Options. Then go to
Search Locations -> Add drive folder to search
You may specify the the NAS resource, a mapped drive, or path e.g. \MyNAS
