    the movie is Basterd is the US as well, but in the US we spell the word as Bastard. I think Curry didnt realize the movie was spelled like that

    I also thought it was spelt ‘Basterds’ - worldwide.

    Maybe they had to censor it to get certification in the UK..? The censors are still quite conservative about some things here in the UK, but quite lax about others.

    Inglorious Basterds is the name of the movie
