Big tobacco is a rapist cartel that should be shut down. These companies prey on people with no sense of the danger tobacco poses, especially the young. Smoking is not cool and anyone who tells you it is is a liar! There is nothing attractive about being hooked on a poison that controls your life until it kills you. If you want to rebel, then get a can of spray paint and paint graffitii on a wall, but stay away from from cigarettes. They will make you a slave to an evil drug, nicotine.
In 1988,at age 15, I was given a free pack of cigs by a vendor for Marlboro while waiting in line for a Motley Crue concert. This guy was marching up and down the line outside the concert hall asking people if they smoked and would they like a free pack.Being young and stupid I accepted. The next 20+ years of my life was spent in a battle to get off that evil garbage, but I finally succeeded. If you don’t smoke, don’t start. Don’t waste your money and health for the profit of Big Tobacco.
MUST HAVE NEWPORT!!!!!!!!!!

for the same reason we all die, we are human, WE DIE.
Back then classy people smoked, nowadays mostly dumb people do. I don’t like that. The people at 4:26 are REALLY pretty.
so classy even though its about smoking
Put a condom on your cigarette.
i wonder why most of these people are dead

Appears to me that the cigarette manufacturers back then spent millions to get the best production values possible for their ads, as opposed to most other commercials of the era. Check out the high quality photography and sound here – must have used the state of the art equipment for that time. Then check out the ads for other products from that time – almost like night and day; other advertisers seem to have rushed a lot of their stuff. Also Tim did a great job posting this.
I HAVE TO …. SMOKE …. A … joint
And the bastards made pot illegal
my ol’ man was telling my that my grandmother would smoke in the grocery store while she was shopping
