Question by Dan C: How can I enable remote desktop on a non-administrator user in windows home premium?
I have already used the crack to use Remote Desktop on an Admin user, but I can’t seem to get it to work with a non-admin user. Any ideas?
Just for clarification, my issue is with the computer that will be receiving the connection, not the computer connecting.

Hello,
On the PC that you want to connect to click Start > Right-click Computer > Properties. Click Advanced System Settings and then click the Remote tab.
Under Remote Desktop click ‘Allow connections from computers using any version of Remote Desktop’ and then click Select Users.
Click Add and add the username of the PC that wants to connect to that machine.
Alternatively use alternate software such as CrossLoop (Google it).
Thanks,
Ian

How to turn on the feature of Remote Desktop in Windows 7? This is actually very simple. In some of the easiest steps, you can enable the feature of remote desktop in your PC. To know all about it, scroll down, the article will let you know all about it -
It starts with a right click on My Compute, followed by a click on properties. Now go to the Remote Settings link and click on the Remote Tab. After it, select either the second or third radio button, as per your requirements. (If your computers are Vista loaded, click on Allow connections only from computers running Network Level Authentication.) Next step involves a selection of users, who are able to connect to your pc via Remote Desktop Connection. (‘Administrator’ Account does not require such permissions, as they are automatically allowed to use the function of remote desktop operation. ) Once you have selected the users, you will have to click on ‘apply’ then ‘ok’. Third step of the procedure talks about firewall protection. You will have to make sure, “firewall you are running on your Windows 7 computer is either turned off, or configured to allow port 3389 for RDC.” This act would permit you for communication to the Remote Desktop Service, which is running on your PC. It also control the remote sessions. In fourth step, you would require a public IP address. This is very important for successful operation of RDC Client (RDC 7.0 in Windows 7, which also facilitates for Single Sign On (SSO). To perform this step, you can browse whatsmyipaddress.com and know about your IP address. In fifth step you would get your remote desktop service enabled. first go to portforward.com and find your modem and setup forwarding ports if you want to access away from home outside of your network. Within your network or home, just use RDP, make sure you have remote desktop enable(use control panel or right click computer and select properties then choose remote settings), type in the computer name or ip on the network, found by using ipconfig in command prompt. WIll be something like 192.168.1.***. enter that with(if a password is need for user) the computer password(what you login with) and there you go.
