UMM yea,just the gateway 24inch lcd will run you around 450-500
What Dual Core model is it?
and you might want more RAM depending on your OS and the applications that you use
and the Hard Drive is good

6GB RAM, 320GB HDD, windows 7 home premium. at wal-mart i saw this for $ 328. its everything but the monitor, i already have a good monitor at home so. will they have presidents day sales?

The old saying is still true u get what u paid for indeed Emachines used to be good computers but reviews now are very bad. If for a second computer that may be good but if a main computer.. then a different story if for internet may be ok but really you will get a very crappy computer incapable of decently playing games outdtated hardware.

I bought a new desktop computer at a yard sale during thanksgiving when I was visiting my mother in a different state, now I’m back home and it’s password protected. I can log in as administrator in safe mode, but I still don’t have access to any of the other user accounts in the control panel. So I can’t delete them. I don’t mind all the files being deleted since they weren’t mine anyway.. so what do I do?

Question by No Bullshit: Should I buy computer parts long time before I build a desktop?
When I see some computer parts (such as power supply, chassis, etc) on sale, I really want to buy them, but I am not going to build my desktop until next year when I move to another city. I don’t have a desktop with me now (I used to have a few but I only have a laptop now) so I can’t test the parts if buy it. So is that worth it to buy parts on sale if I can’t test it or install it right away?

The stuff like the hard drive, power supply and case could be bought. That stuff won’t be obselete by next year. Get it while it’s cheap. I buy Newegg “shell shockers” all the time that sit around because I got it for 70% off instead of waiting to buy it and paying 100$ for it later when I originally got it for 30$ . I’d buy the motherboard / CPU as the next to last thing, together. The last thing I’d buy is the graphics card.

Computers aren’t really good for gaming. I suggest getting an xbox or PS3 for the same price. But if you really want a PC, I suggets looking at a local computer store rather than the internet. They usually have better choices, plus upgrades.

Question by AmyBlue77: Sale price for old computer?
Okay– i’ll try this again. If you were to garage sale a Dell Dimension 4600 Desktop computer from 2004 (maybe someone would want the parts, monitor, keyboard, idk?), then how much would you ask? It has a DVD and CD drive– but it is in need of some repairs to get it in good working condition. It is your regular run of the mill desktop, purchase price was $ 1000, but I know the prices are much lower now. I also have a really great printer/copier/scanner– HP psc 2110 all in one to sell. It works fine. If you have any suggestions, thanks!
