IF a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
And the bus is interrupted as a very last resort, And the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort, Then the socket packet pocket has an error to report!

IF your cursor finds a menu item followed by a dash, And the double-clicking icon puts your window in the trash, And your data is corrupted ’cause the index doesn’t hash, Then your situation’s hopeless, and your system’s gonna crash!

IF the label on the cable on the table at your house, Says the network is connected to the button on your mouse, But your packets want to tunnel on another protocol, That’s repeatedly rejected by the printer down the hall!

IF your screen is all distorted by the side effects of gauss, So your icons in the window are as wavey as a souse, Then you may as well reboot and go out with a bang, ‘Cause as sure as I’m a poet, the sucker’s gonna hang!

IF the copy of your floppy’s getting sloppy on the disk, And the microcode instructions cause unnecessary RISC, Then you have to flash your memory, and you’ll want to RAM your ROM. Quickly turn off the computer and be sure to tell your MOM!

How did you make it?
This texture was made using software specially designed to aid in seamless texture creation. Some of the programs I’ve use are Photoshop, Illustrator, Filter Forge, Genetica, Image Synth, Alien Skin, Topaz Labs, Imagelys, Wood Workshop, and even a pen and paper.

    Hi i have put away money for a new computer, and i need one that has at least 2.6 ghz processor with alot of memory. i noticed that there are touch screen comps and those are cool, but i need 2 know if these all in one comps hav evrything and i dont need to buy anything else. if any1 has any great ideas which type of desktop computers i can buy please let me know :) i need a fast and reliable comp :D thx

    All-in-one are computers that don’t have the tower otherwise known as motherboard. It is instead linked with the screen. So it should be very slim computer that functions both as thetower and a monitor. No need to buy a tower or a monitor as it comes in 1. Usually these computers are touch screen, and comes with a wireless mouse and keyboard. They can range about 1000-2200$ since you don’t have to buy two separate parts. Hope this helped.

    Mark Oehlert came by my email inbox asking for a snapshot of my desktop for his collection. I like to keep mine free of cluttered icons, and manage that the same way I clean up my office– just shove them into some other folder where you cannot see ‘em.

    My desktop photos are set to rotate randomly form a folder in my Pictures directory, but I speficically fished out one of my favorites of Mickey, my now gone Lab (and blog model), getting a bath.
