Dear Friends:
I’ve been using WD-40 as long as I can remember, and really love the product. I honestly have no issues with the product itself. I am writing to let you know that I will not own a spray can with a picture of a military machine. When I went into my local hardware store for a small can of WD-40, the only labels there were ones that glorify war. The very same images flash across this web site. I’ve never written to complain about a product, but in this case, I wanted to let you know that my reaction to a label prevented me from making a purchase. This reason may sound trivial to a big company, but I will not buy WD-40 until it ceases to associate glory with state-sanctioned killing. Thank you for the wonderful product you produce. I hope you might give a second thought to the ethical issues with which you associate it.
